Your data, handled carefully.
Most finance apps ask for your bank login. FinCú never does — you bring your own data as CSV files. It's stored on our server in Germany, and it's never sold or used for ads.
Exactly who handles what →- No bank logins or open-banking connections
- Hosted in the EU, with no ads, analytics or trackers
- Insights come from fixed rules — no AI service sees your data

Questions, answered.
Do I have to give FinCú my bank login?
No. You download a CSV export from your bank or broker and upload it. FinCú reads exports from AIB, Revolut, Degiro and Trading 212 today. Savings, pensions, property, cars and debts are entered by hand.
How up to date are my numbers?
Bank and broker transactions are as recent as your last import — upload a new CSV to bring them up to date, and the Import page shows when you last did. Investment and crypto values are refreshed with market prices separately, so they stay current between imports.
What happens when the 30 days of Plus end?
Your household moves to the Free plan automatically. All of your data stays, and every Free feature keeps working; Plus tools are locked until you subscribe.
Do I need a payment card to start?
No. Creating a household and the 30-day Plus trial need no card. If you choose to subscribe, payment is handled by Stripe and your card details never reach FinCú.
Can my partner see everything?
Yes. A household has up to two members and both see the same household data — there are no private accounts inside a household. Many pages let you switch between the household and each person.
Where is my data kept, and who processes it?
On a server in Germany, run by Hetzner. Resend sends password-reset emails, Stripe handles payment if you subscribe, and market-price providers are asked for quotes by ticker symbol only. Insights come from fixed rules — no AI service sees your data. Read the privacy policy.
Is this tax advice?
No. Tax figures are estimates based on current Irish rules, to help you plan. For decisions with real money at stake, check with Revenue or a qualified adviser.
