What we store

FinCú stores the information you enter or import: your name and email, a hashed password, and the financial data you add — bank transactions, investments, assets, budgets, and settings. We never store your bank login credentials; data comes from CSV files you upload yourself.

Where it lives

Your data is held in a private PostgreSQL database on a server in the EU (Hetzner, Germany), scoped to your household. Passwords and recovery codes are stored only as bcrypt hashes — we cannot read them.

Who we share it with

No one. Your financial data is never sold or shared. FinCú calls third-party price APIs (Finnhub, Yahoo, CoinGecko) for market quotes using ticker symbols only — never your personal or financial data.

Your rights

You can export all of your household's data as JSON at any time, and permanently delete your household and every associated account, both from the Account page. Deletion is immediate and irreversible.

Cookies

We use a single essential cookie to keep you signed in. No tracking or advertising cookies.
